Froggies restaurant at the Timberbatts pub - popular French restaurant in an old country pub. Just 3 miles from Downs Farm Granary
The Compasses, Sole Street - another attractive country pubwhich also does food. 4 miles from the Granary.
The Tiger, Stowting - friendly village pub/restaurant with a very good and extensive menu with a jazz night on Mondays. About 6 miles.
There are three pubs in the village of Wye (3 miles) including the Tickled Trout, picturesquely set by the river Stour which an excellent place for on a sunny lunchtime.
Also in the village there is an Indian restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, and the posh and quite expensive Wife of Bath.
